Women In Cardiology And Related Sciences (WINCARS) Association is a signature initiative led by women cardiologists, dedicated to catalyzing meaningful change in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular disease in women.
Founded in 2015, WINCARS is India’s first and only national organization exclusively focused on women’s cardiovascular health. The association provides a unified, collaborative platform for physicians, cardiologists, researchers, and allied specialists to educate, innovate, and advocate for improved heart health outcomes in women.
In parallel, WINCARS is deeply committed to gender equity in cardiology, fostering leadership, mentorship, and greater representation of women across clinical practice, academics, and research. By empowering women cardiologists and amplifying women-specific cardiovascular science, WINCARS bridges critical gaps in care and knowledge.
The mission of this association is to create a common platform globally to increase women heart health awareness like WIN in western countries and the Women’s Heart Foundation in European countries.
WCC is the flagship scientific conference of WINCARS and one of the largest and most influential Interventional Cardiology conferences for women in the Asia-Pacific region.
WCC is a premier academic forum dedicated to women-centric cardiovascular science, with a strong emphasis on interventional cardiology, innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The conference brings together global leaders, experienced operators, early-career cardiologists, and research fellows from world-renowned institutions, universities, and medical schools.
Through high-quality scientific sessions, live and recorded case discussions, original research, and cross-specialty engagement, WCC aims to:
Women Cardiac Care (WCC) is more than a conference – it is a movement to reshape cardiovascular care for women, strengthen global collaboration, and inspire the next generation of leaders in cardiology.
